The Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., at West Virginia State University will kick off its Centennial celebration on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. with a Black-Tie Gala, open to the public. This Centennial Gala will take place at the prestigious Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences (1 Clay Square, Charleston, WV 25301). Our Centennial will be a weekend-long celebration. In addition to the gala, events will include a closed brunch (Kappas Only), a new monument reveal, Homecoming cookout/football tailgate, community service and more. Brothers in the Bond will receive several commemorative gifts as keepsakes of this important time in our illustrious history. It is our desire to offer multiple opportunities for brothers, loved ones and friends to fellowship and ultimately make this a Centennial that truly reflects on our theme - “100 years, A Timeless Legacy of Achievement.”
