A Message From Your Alumni Director

 Greetings, Yellow Jackets,

Thank you for attending Homecoming 2021! We are so grateful for the love and support our dedicated alumni and friends continue to show us.

This year's Homecoming, we celebrated the centennial of the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the dedication ceremony for the brand new turf field and lights, the inductees into the WVSU ROTC Hall of Fame. We recognized the 'W' Club's newest members to the Sports Hall of Fame.

A Message From Mae Lansdowne, Student Rep for Board of Governors

A  native of Martinsburg, WV, I am one of eight children. I currently serve as the student representative on the WVSU Board of Governors. Since taking office, I have been inspired by the pride and devotion displayed by alumni and by the strong ongoing support of our community members. This fall, our legacy continued as WVSU welcomed the Class of 2025 (the largest freshman class since 2017).

Please join us on this journey by making your contribution to the WVSU Fund today. Your gift will continue to provide opportunities for students just like me. Student success... Starts At State!

WVSU is collaborating with a trusted partner, PCI, the company that produces our alumni directory, on a new project. The goal of the WVSU Oral History Project is to collect stories of alumni like you in your own words and preserve them in a book that celebrates the impact WVSU had on your lives.

To date, we have collected over 1200 alumni stories! Please make sure you respond to the communication sent from PCI so your history with WVSU can live on for years to come! We look forward to hearing your stories from the place we love so dear!

Stories will be collected through January 1, 2022.
