Homecoming 2026 is just around the corner, and we invite all West Virginia State University alumni and friends to come back to campus for a weekend of celebration, connection, and Yellow Jacket pride!
We look forward to welcoming you to our host hotel, the Embassy Suites in Charleston, and to a weekend filled with opportunities to celebrate our HBCU's 135th anniversary!
This year's Homecoming schedule offers something for everyone. Start the weekend off with the Young Alumni Mixer, honor outstanding members of the Yellow Jacket family at the Alumni Awards Ceremony, and enjoy the Family Fun Zone with friends and loved ones. Be sure to take in the Homecoming Parade, join the tailgating festivities, and cheer on the Yellow Jacket football team as they face West Liberty University. We're thrilled to announce that the Homecoming Step Show is back in its traditional time slot, immediately after the football game, bringing the excitement and energy you love!
We are excited to commemorate the class years ending in 1 and 6 this year! If you're unable to attend Homecoming this year, you can still be part of the celebration by making a gift in honor of your class year.
