Young Professional Achievement Award Criteria:

The Young Professional Achievement Award was created to honor graduates of West Virginia State University, age 45 or younger (by September 23, 2023), who have distinguished themselves in their profession and/or through exceptional service to WVSU, the WVSU National Alumni Association or any WVSU Alumni Chapter.

Nominations may be made by any person or group affiliated with WVSU, students, faculty, staff or alumni. The award will be chosen by the Young Professional Achievement Award Committee. The committee shall include 3-5 people who will choose one outstanding and deserving recipient to receive the award.

In the space below, provide the committee with pertinent information as to why the nominee is an exceptional representative of West Virginia State University and deserves to be selected. Any information you provide will be useful in helping select the best recipient for each award.
