The generous support from alumni and friends helps West Virginia State University provide quality academic programs and access to education for hundreds of students each year who may otherwise be unable to afford it. Donations come to the West Virginia State University Foundation, which in turn supports scholarship programs and financial aid for students in need, as well as programs that benefit the entire University. Since its inception in 1959, the Foundation has helped thousands of students realize their dreams and go on to become corporate and civic leaders across the country.
