REGISTRATION

What is the refund policy for event registrations?

If you need to cancel an event registration prior to September 1, 2017, please contact Alumni Relations with your request. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the processing of event registration refunds. No refunds will be processed after September 1, 2017 for paid Homecoming events or activities unless an event has to be cancelled by the University.

The printed form says both plaque and clock for class reunion gift in different areas, which is it?

There is an error on the printed homecoming registration. The class reunion gift is a keepsake clock for all class years. Class Reunion keepsake clocks are included in the Reunion Registration Package as well as the Build Your Own Package for $35.00.

When and where can I pick up my event tickets during Homecoming?

You can pick up your registration packets at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, W.Va. on Friday, September 29 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

 

LODGING

How do I get a room at the Embassy Suites?

Rooms at the Embassy Suites are currently SOLD OUT. You may contact bfuller@wvstateu.edu to be put on a waiting list.   

A WVSU staff member called to request my credit card information for a room at the Embassy Suites, when will my card be charged?

If you requested a room at the Embassy Suites through the Office of Alumni Relations your card will not be charged until you check into the hotel. 

TRAVEL AND MOBILITY

I have mobility concerns and will require a scooter during Homecoming, how do I reserve one?

If you require a scooter during Homecoming, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations to reserve one for a nominal fee. 

Is there a shuttle from the hotels in Charleston to campus?

West Virginia State University does provide a shuttle to campus. This shuttle will make stops at both the Embassy Suites and the Marriot and will run on Friday and Saturday. Once the shuttle shedule has been finalized, the schedule will be posted online as well as at registration.
