WVSU Lecture to Honor Nobel Prize-winning Author Gabriel Garcia Marquez
West Virginia State University (WVSU) will pay tribute to Nobel Prize-winning author Gabriel Garcia Marquez, author of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” and “Love in the Time of Cholera,” in a free lecture by Dr. Miguel Zapata Thursday, April 24, at 12:30 p.m. on campus. Marquez died Thursday in Mexico.

International Film to Premiere May 5 at West Virginia State University Capitol Center
INSTITUTE, W.Va. – A short film co-produced by students and faculty from West Virginia State University (WVSU) and the University of Sharjah (UOS) in the United Arab Emirates will premiere Monday, May 5, at 7 p.m. at the WVSU Capitol Center in Charleston.
