Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create an account?
Creating an account is simple. Click HERE to go to the new user registration page. Once you are on the page, simply fill out your information, create a username and password and click submit.

After my account is created, how long will it take before I can access all parts of the site?
Once you register your account will be sent to our offices for approval. This process typically takes approximately 2-5 business days. Once your request for an account has been approved, you will be able to access all features on the website. 

What can I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password you can click the forgotten password link on the login page and a new temporary password will be sent to you. You can also contact our offices at 304.766.3322 or via email at adowns@wvstateu.edu if you have any questions about your account.  

How do I access additional features through my account?
Once you log in and your account has been approved you can access features through your home dashboard found at connect.wvstateu.edu/myhome while you are logged in to the site. On this page you can find links to update your profile, view your giving history, update username and password, change email preferences, view and submit class notes, and view and search our alumni directory. On this page you can also find information about your current memberships and how to renew.
