This competition is open to all West Virginia musicians in grades 9-12.

Winner receives $500 and a performance with the
West Virginia State Philharmonic Orchestra
conducted by Dr. Scott Woodard, May 9, 2023 at
West Virginia State University.

Concerto:
Choose one movement of any Classical, Romantic, or major 20th-21st century concerto for your instrument. 
Not to exceed 15 minutes in length. Cuts are acceptable.

Entry Procedures/Application:
Contestants must submit a non-refundable $50 entry fee (checks made payable to WVSU Foundation or online at connect.wvstateu.edu/WVSU-Concerto with the attached application)
